We had a great time visiting family in Austin this past Easter weekend. We had Birthday parties, picnics, bbq's, egg hunting and lots and lots of "cascarones" It was also Cristian's first experience with colored boiled eggs. Remember, his daddy is a chef so we never had boiled eggs for Easter. The risk of food poisoning is too high. Well, our sweet and active 4 year old was crushing the "cascarones" (confetti eggs) then throwing them at everyone and anyone who was near by. Then, he reached for an egg that felt like a confetti egg....then proceeded to crush it and throw it. OUCH!! I got hit about three times with crushed boiled eggs!
Hope you had a great time making wonderful memories!!! I know I'll cherish this one for a long time!

Change...
I have been dealing with the possibility that we may move from Corpus Christi. I do not like to move. I have moved all my life. I had hoped that finally I would be able to plant roots. Then, as I was absorbed in my own unwillingness to change and move, the rug was pulled from under me. My brother and sister in Christ are in pain and I hurt with them. God will pull my brother ands sister in Christ and everyone who loves them out of this. For He works in miraculous ways, at the moment we can not see it, but we need to hold on with all our might to God's amazing Grace for He knows what is in store for all of us.
I must now surrender once again to His will not not mine.
Many Blessings.

Happy New Year!
I spent the New Year with my family in Austin. It was really nice. I came back renewed and happy. We stayed an extra two days and it was so much more relaxing than our usual weekend stay. It was long enough, I am glad to be back home.
Hope everyone had a great time welcoming the New Year!
